🔧 ABOUT THE GAME
You live in the Upper Silesian conurbation – Katowice, 2090. The old industrial heartland has been fused with neon-soaked Shenzhen arcologies and Seoul’s hyper-dense street culture. It’s bright, decaying, and brutally honest about what cyberpunk became: not trench coats and katana duels, but algorithmic gatekeeping, chipped pets that recycle into protein slurry, and a flywheel bike that stops working when your “Family Readiness Score” drops too low.
Project Hexagon is built as a direct response to unfulfilled cyberpunk promises. There is no “storm the castle” ending here. Change comes through small, systemic victories – exposing corporate crimes, jailbreaking synthetic meat vats, preserving heritage rodent bloodlines, and rebuilding community networks. The world is wrong, but you are not the hero who blows it up. You are the person who quietly makes it a little less wrong.
🧬 CORE THEMES – THE THREE RIGHTS
Everything in the game ties back to three inalienable, constantly threatened rights:
- Right to Repair – Fix your own vehicles, cyberware, and appliances. Crack the firmware locks. The Sanctuary’s workshops are waiting.
- Right to Grow – Mushroom farms, seed-saving circles, real fermentation. Food sovereignty against the FreshLogix monopoly.
- Right to Reproduce – Bodily autonomy extended to family planning. Aegis Health’s “Family Test” algorithm does not get to decide if you can have children.
🎮 GAMEPLAY & SYSTEMS
Dialogue – Prism System: branching consequences, no “correct” path. Combat – Simple, fun shooting & melee, inspired by Postal 2. Inventory – Tetris-style briefcase management (Resident Evil 4). Driving – Arcade handling with deep customization (Midnight Club 3). Super upgrades include EMP Shockwave, Silent Drive, Hyper Aero. Cyberware – Grounded, near-future tech (neural lace, DARPA-style prosthetics). No fantasy steroid implants. Radiant Activities – Street racing (Checkpoint, Bully the Corpo, Digital Goldmine), scam call center raids, rampage & “Glowie” extraction loop. In-Game Internet – 12+ fully text-based, procedurally generated websites. Forums, social media, old corporate directories, anonymous imageboards – all hiding secrets, petty bans, and deep lore. The Tri-Currency Economy – KOR (sterile, tracked), Standards (compliance points), and Zł+ (legacy cash – the only real money for the underground).
🏙️ THE WORLD
The city is a logistics hub between East and West, a former rodent-breeding center, and the seat of the Corporate Trinity:
- TasteCorp – “ForeverFriend” lobotomised pets, pet-to-product pipeline, synthetic meat.
- Aegis Health – The Family Test algorithm, anti-psychosis pills, the “Glowie” black vans.
- FreshLogix – Food monopolies, seed bans, mushroom prohibition, 3D-printed protein that used to be someone’s hamster.
Beneath it all lies the Sanctuary, an underground community preserving real livestock, heritage pets, jailbroken vats, old cars, and forgotten ferments. It smells like yeast, hay, and solder.
Animal body modifications are ordinary – a hamster-modded fixer, a degu-modded archivist, a ferret-modded parkourist who dreams of real steak. No “oppressed minority” tropes; just people navigating dietary needs, grey-market networks, and the quiet dignity of being unfiltered.
🛠️ DEVELOPMENT STATUS & PHILOSOPHY
Project Hexagon is in active early development, built solo with a sustainable, no-crunch approach. I use AI placeholders for first art passes, shaders before movement, and a deep respect for simple, readable code.

This is a reformist game in every sense – not just in its story, but in how it’s made. No giant systems built just to tear them down.
⚠️ WIP DISCLAIMER: Project Hexagon is currently in a half-playable prototype state. The environments, characters, and vehicles shown in current screenshots/media are temporary HY3D modular placeholders used strictly for scale, layout, and art-blockout studies. As stated, these specific 3D models will not appear in the final game. The final release will feature fully custom, anime-hybrid assets tailored specifically to the Polish brutalist and hyper-dense neon aesthetic of 2090s Upper Silesia.
